What this site collects

Like most business sites, this one keeps a record of how it is used so that we can see which pages matter and reply properly when someone gets in touch. It records:

• Page views, including the page address, the referring page and any campaign codes in the link you arrived on
• Clicks on buttons and links, and how far down a page you scrolled
• Form submissions: the name, email, message, and optional company and phone you type into the contact form
• A visitor id in a cookie named ti_vid, kept for one year, so two visits from the same browser can be connected
• A session id, which lasts until you close the browser
• A device fingerprint hash: a one-way hash of browser and screen characteristics, computed once per session, used to tell sessions apart. It cannot be reversed into personal details
• Your IP address, browser type and screen size, sent by every browser as a matter of course

Matching business visitors to companies

For visitors on a business network, the IP address may be matched to a company name through third-party enrichment providers. This tells us that, for example, a manufacturer in Illinois read the pricing page. It does not identify a person unless that person fills in the contact form.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the enrichment step is skipped for your visit.

Google Analytics 4

The site also uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic reporting. Google’s own privacy policy governs what Google does with that data. The visitor id described above is not shared with Google.

How long it is kept

• IP addresses: 30 days
• Company matches from enrichment: 90 days
• Person-level records, such as a contact form submission tied to a visit: 60 days in the analytics store. The email itself stays in our inbox so we can reply
• Everything else, such as page views and clicks without any identifying data: 365 days

What is not done with it

Nothing collected here is sold, rented or traded. It is not used for advertising to you elsewhere. It is used to run this business and reply to the people who write in.

Asking for deletion

Email info@threshinnovations.com from the address you want removed, or describe the visit, and the matching records will be deleted. You will get a confirmation when it is done.
